How do you measure success? Have a wonderful career can mean success. Having a harmonious relationship with someone could say more of a success for some. I think the true meaning of success is to do something, though not necessarily excel in this, and yet find themselves happily. I think it also depends on your priorities. No man is perfect. Likewise, no man can have everything he or she wanted in life. There will always be failures and frustrations. This is because there are some things that are beyond our control. There are some things that is not the way we wanted them to be.
If you're the career-oriented, success would be bagging the first position and to be highly compensated and demanding respect for others. Conversely, if you're the type of person who sees more importance in your relationship with others, then do not worry if you get promotions as long as you're doing your job and basically have one.
