EQ for Balance

Most of us these days are concerned for our welfare and we are doing everything we can to relieve stress and to achieve a healthy balance in our lives. We think about what we eat, we exercise, and try to manage our emotional States, eliminating what stress can, and trying to cope better with the rest.

At the base of all our efforts is the fact that we depend on our immune system to our health. L ' increase of diseases from auto-immune deficiency is this more evident to make us all the time. Our immune system are our first and last line of defense against the disease, and are made directly by our emotional States.

Emotional States such as depression, pain and anger weaken our immune system and leave us susceptible to the disease. And ' been documented that, after a couple has a big fight, one of them is likely to be down with something next week. And ' been documented that rabies kills ". " however, as Arnold Relman, MD, Director of The New England Journal, wrote to a colleague, " The scientific method is not ... the ' only way or even the best way to know the nature and the human body. Many important truths are intuitively obvious and don't require a scientific support, even when they seem contradictory logic. "

We know intuitively that our emotions can make us sick, just like we know we can do well. You can come back from that kind of happy new year holiday feelings younger, just as we are able to get from one feeling massage table, as a friend of mine said after his first massage, " This added years to my life ".

We are all well aware pounds when our impulses, when our hearts race, when you got that sickening feeling in the pit of your stomach, or are unable to breathe or think when in the grip of strong emotion, that our bodies are being negative consequences. We are also quite aware of what our hearts melt like our impulses rule, how sweet that we breathe, and how we feel great expanse next to a loved one, our grandchildren rocking, or from a magnificent sunset.

How can we manage our emotions can make the difference between health and disease, and the effects are cumulative.

Our emotional state can ignore the effects of diet and exercise '. In fact, if you are a person hostile and led that caters to exercise and diet in the same type of addiction, l ' activities aimed as anything else in your life, you defeat your purpose. You will be on the golf course to compensate for the effects of anger and then simply get upset that you can't putt to the right, towards the end of your partner or your caddie is an idiot.

In an article titled, " ", Management of emotions from Deborah Rozman, Ph.d., and Paul Rosch, MD, appearing on the website, the authors discuss the PGA the effects of emotions on performance. They report that a Japanese doctor sports estimates that about 5,000 golfers die annually in the fairway, succumb to stress that impose themselves while playing golf.

We need negative emotions because we give information-how else can we know what fear and what to avoid? However, fear, anxiety, anger, sorrow and concern erode our performance, erode our relationships and ultimately erode our health.

For a system of true wellbeing, include some emotional intelligence development. More information on how to get out and exercise, without worrying about themselves until death for score, abdominals, or personality of your opponent.

Learn how to eat well to know that your food choices to make and learn to recognize when you are eating your anger, or trying to comfort your pain.

Keep yoga in your life, but don't have a heart attack, because you need 10 minutes to make the journey of 20 minutes from your Office to the Wellness Centre and then stress yourself, because there are no towels clean towel in the bin, your personal trainer is not perfect, or haven't lost 2 kg. she insists that it must.

A deep massage of the body is one of the best things you can do for your health, but do not sabotage as the man that I observed ' l ' other day. You can't lie on massage table screams into the phone to someone, and we expect results health benefits.

And ' some ' of popular wisdom that is not what you say but how you say, and regarding your health regime, is not what you do, but how you do it. If you're not aware, the emotional state are generated quickly to meet the demands you put on yourself can undo all the good they could do.

All EQ skills are important, but one of the most important is definitely intentional. Means do what you intend to do, say what you mean and meaning what you say, and having the ' effect it is having. This means that you can't throw their eyes; and your eyes are the only ones that count.

If you trudge out to exercise, as a drug addict on his judicial rehabilitation, planning to make a mockery of everything, it won't work. I am reminded of the ' man in recovery once I worked with told me, " I go to meetings after that I had a few drinks and no one can say ". (Wink wink) How clever of him, I thought, until its demise.
